Harvest Power’s Energy Garden co-digests 120,000 tons per year of commercial food waste and biosolids from local theme parks and businesses and a wastewater facility. The facility produces 3.2 MW of electricity — enough to power 2,000 Floridian homes — and 3,200 tons per year of granular fertilizer for application on local agriculture. The facility is co-located next to a 20 mgd wastewater treatment facility. See www.harvestpower.com.
